Our Journey
The story of Tommy Lane Jewelry began at the age of twelve, when I was gifted a bead loom kit. Little did I know, that simple kit would ignite a lifelong passion for jewelry making. I eagerly wove my first piece with seed beads and thread, and the joy of crafting something beautiful with my own hands stayed with me.
Over the years, my love for jewelry grew, fueled by the inspiring pieces displayed in my mother's antique shop, where I helped customers find their perfect treasures. It was there that I discovered a deep appreciation for the art of jewelry, and as the years passed, the legacy of my family—my grandfather and great-grandfather, both jewelers, inspired me to embark on my own journey.
Having grown up in a home where art, design, and history were valued—my father being an architect and my mother an antique shop owner—I learned early on the importance of beauty in both function and form. Influenced by Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Victorian, and Edwardian styles, I sought to combine the elegance of bygone eras with contemporary design, creating jewelry that pays homage to the past while remaining timelessly modern.
In 2007, I launched Tommy Lane Jewelry, dedicating the name to my son, Tommy Lane, who continues to inspire my creativity and vision. What started as a project for a school fundraiser reignited my passion for making jewelry and led to the creation of a brand that would go on to capture the hearts of many.
